The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has started the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET) 2026 exam today, May 13, for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses. The exam is being held in two shifts, and more than 56,000 candidates are appearing for it.

As the TS ICET 2026 exam is being held in two shifts today and in a single shift tomorrow, May 14, candidates should carefully check their shift timing and reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
As per the official TS ICET schedule, the forenoon (FN) shift is conducted from 10 am to 12:30 pm, and the afternoon (AN) shift will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

Candidates appearing for the TS ICET 2026 morning shift should reach the exam centre by 9:30 am. Those appearing for the afternoon shift must report by 2 pm. Candidates are advised to arrive early for security checks, document verification, and login procedures before the exam begins.

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after the TS ICET exam begins. They also cannot leave the exam hall before the exam is over.
TG ICET 2026 (formerly TS ICET) is a computer-based exam with a duration of 150 minutes. It has 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections: Analytical Ability (75 questions), Mathematical Ability (75 questions), and Communication Ability (50 questions).
As per the TS ICET marking scheme, there is no negative marking, and each correct answer carries 1 mark.
Candidates must carry a printed TS ICET hall ticket and a valid government ID, such as Aadhaar or PAN card, to the exam centre. They should also bring a transparent water bottle. Electronic items, including smartwatches, are not allowed.
Candidates are not allowed to carry any stationery items like notes, calculators, pens, or erasers, and electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones, and scanners are strictly prohibited, while items like wallets, bags, belts, caps, goggles, and any food or drinks are also not allowed in the exam hall.
