Download EBookThe Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has announced the exam dates for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET 2026) for admission to MBA and MCA programmes for the academic year 2026-27. As per the TS ICET notification 2026, registrations will open on February 12.

The council has launched a new TS ICET portal , icet.tgche.ac.in, to upload the notification, syllabus, eligibility, guidelines, and admission details. This year, the Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, will conduct the TS ICET 2026 exam, on behalf of TGCHE.
The TS ICET exam will be held on May 13 and 14 in three sessions as a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will be administered in two sessions on the first day of exam and in one session on the second day.

TG ICET 2026: Eligibility
TS ICET is mandatory for admission to MBA and MCA courses offered by 10 universities and its affiliated colleges in Telangana, including Osmania University, Kakatiya University, JNTU Hyderabad, Telangana University, and Palamuru University (PU), Mahbubnagar among others.
To be eligible for MBA admission, applicants must be Indian citizens, fulfill Telangana local or non-local status requirements, and hold a minimum three-year bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in the qualifying exam for general category and 45% for SC, ST, and OBC categories.
For MCA admissions, candidates should have passed BCA, BSc, BCom, BA, with mathematics at Class 12 or graduation level. Degrees obtained through ODL or distance mode must be recognised by UGC, AICTE, DEB norms.
TS ICET 2026: Important dates
The Telangana MBA entrance exam will carry 200 marks, with a qualifying cut-off of 25% (50 marks. There is no minimum qualifying marks fixed for SC and ST candidates. Candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs 750, while reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 550.

“Candidates indulging in impersonation are liable for prosecution, inviting a punishment of imprisonment from 3 to 7 years with or without penalty ranging from Rs 5,000/- to Rs 20,000,” it said.
