TS ICET Counselling 2024 registration for MBA, MCA admission begins today; eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council for Higher Education will commence the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET 2024) counselling registration for MBA and MCA admissions today. Candidates qualified in TG ICET-2024 and secured 50% for open category and 45% for others in aggregate in degree or its equivalent examination will be eligible to participate in the TS ICET counselling 2024.

The TS ICET counselling registration last date 2024 is September 8, as per the schedule announced earlier. The counselling process will include registration, payment of processing fee, slot booking, certificate verification, option exercise, provisional allotment result, and reporting.
“Candidates / Parents are advised to exercise as many number of options as possible to avoid disappointment of not getting a seat. Therefore while exercising the options every care need to be taken in selecting the college and course as per the choice of the candidates,” the council said.
TS ICET Counselling 2024: Eligibility
Here’s the detailed TS ICET counselling eligibility criteria for both MBA and MCA programmes.
- Candidates should be an Indian national and should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.
- The maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship is 30 years for open category candidates and 34 years for other candidates as on July 1, 2024, as per the guidelines.
- For MBA admission, candidates should have completed bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration except oriental languages.
- For MCA admission, candidates should have passed BCA, BSc, BCom, BA with mathematics at Class 12 or at graduation level.
- Those who have obtained a degree by distance mode programme or ODL should have recognition by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC regulations.
- In respect of other state university degrees, candidates are required to submit equivalency certificate issued from Osmania University.
