14 Telangana Inter 2nd year students caught cheating in chemistry, commerce exam 2025
Telangana Board held the TS Inter 2nd year commerce and chemistry paper 2 exams for 4.31 lakh students today. Of the 14, a majority of 11 students were caught cheating in Suryapet.

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has caught 14 students, mostly from Suryapet city, cheating in Telangana Class 12 inter board exam. The TSBIE conducted the TS Inter 2nd year chemistry and commerce board exam today at various exam centres across the state.

The Telangana Board said that a total of 4,44,697 students were registered to appear for the TS 2nd year chemistry-II and commerce-II board examination today. Of them, 4,31,964 students appeared for the exam, and the remaining 12,733 were marked absent.
The board recorded an overall attendance of 97.13% on day 6. “Observers were sent to Suryapet, Medak, Karimnagar, Sangareddy and Hyderabad Districts from Board to the Examination centers and they reported that the Examinations had conducted smoothly and peacefully, without any untoward incidents,” it said.
Of the total 14, who were found engaging in malpractices, a majority of 11 were caught from Suryapet, and one each from Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Siddipet.
As per the TS Inter board exam time table 2025 , the Class 12 students will appear for Public administration paper-II, Bridge course maths paper-II on March 22 and Geography paper II, Modern language paper II on March 25.
Previously, the board held the English paper for the 2nd year intermediate students. Due to some inaccuracies in question number 7, relating to a pie-chart, the state board has decided to award full marks for those who attempted this question.
