NEW DELHI: Osmania University, Hyderabad will conduct the state level law entrance TS LAWCET for 3-year LLB today, August 23. The entrance exams for 5-year LLB and LLM will be conducted tomorrow, August 24. Both TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET 2021 will be held in online mode, in 21 test zones spread across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The university has already released the TS LAWCET 2021 and PGLCET admit cards for all registered candidates. The admit card could be downloaded using registration ID, date of birth and mobile number.

TS LAWCET for 3-year LLB will be conducted in two shifts - morning and evening. On the other hand, the 5-year LLB TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET will be held tomorrow in the morning shift.

Important guidelines for appearing in TS LAWCET 2021

Candidates going to appear in TS LAWCET 2021 are required to follow the exam instructions mentioned in their admit cards. Some of the important guidelines are given below.

  1. Candidates must carry their TS LAWET/PGLCET admit card to the designated examination centre. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the entrance exam without admit card.

  2. Along with the admit card, candidates must carry a valid photo identity card which can be used for verification purposes.

  3. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, candidates must wear a face mask and maintain social distancing.

  4. There will be multiple-choice questions, matching items in both TS LAWCET and PGLCET.

  5. Each question will carry one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

  6. Candidates should report to their designated exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the test. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the test after the commencement of the examination.

  7. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of the test.

Normalization process for 3-year LLB

Considering that TS LAWCET for 3-year LLB is being conducted in two sessions based on the same syllabus and same pattern, the university has adopted a normalization process to eliminate any variations in the difficulty levels of various sessions. The normalization process is intended to ensure that no student gets advantage/disadvantage due to multiple sessions.

TS LAWCETG cut offs 2021

Mere appearing in TS LAWCET/PGLCET 2021 will not make the candidate eligible for admission to law college. All admissions through TS LAWCET and PGLCET are conducted based on the criteria of merit cum preference. To be considered for admission, candidates are required to secure the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the conducting body.
