TS PECET 2024 registration deadline extended by May 25 without late fee

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has extended the registration deadline for the Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) 2024. The TS PECET 2024 registration deadline, without a late fee, is now May 25. Previously, the deadline was set for May 15.
Candidates who miss this deadline can still submit their TS PECET 2024 application form with a late fee of Rs 500 by May 31, 2024. Eligible candidates can complete the TS PECET 2024 application process by visiting the official website, pecet.tsche.ac.in.
As per the schedule, the physical and skill test will be conducted for four days from June 10 to June 13 at Satavahana University, Karimnagar. Candidates will be allowed to download the TS PECET 2024 hall tickets from June 5 onwards through the official website.
Candidates from the scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) categories are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 500. Candidates from other categories need to pay Rs 900 to register for the exam.
The TS PECET 2024 will be conducted for admission into Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) and Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd) courses offered by universities and affiliated colleges in Telangana for the academic year 2024-25.

Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd)

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have appeared for or passed a three-year degree examination recognized by any university in Telangana state or any other university recognized as equivalent.

Age Limit: Candidates should be at least 19 years old as of July 1, 2024.
Diploma in Physical Education (DPEd)

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have appeared for or passed the intermediate or an equivalent course recognized by the government of Telangana.

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 16 years old as of July 1, 2024.
