TGCHE has announced the TS PGECET 2026 counselling timetable, including registration, web options, seat allotment and reporting dates

Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) released the counselling schedule for the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) 2026 on the official website of TGCHE at pgecetadm.tgche.ac.in. The TS PGECET 2026 counselling process will comprise several stages, including online registration, payment of the counselling fee, certificate verification, web options entry, and seat allocation.

The Phase 1 registration process for TS PGECET 2026 counselling is scheduled to commence on July 2, 2026. Candidates seeking admission to pharmacy programmes can participate in the counselling based on their TS PGECET 2026 scores. For engineering courses, both TS PGECET-qualified candidates and GATE-qualified applicants will be eligible to register and take part in the admission process.
Following the completion of each counselling round, the authorities will release the TS PGECET cutoff ranks, enabling candidates to assess admission trends and their chances of securing a seat in subsequent rounds.

To participate in the TS PGECET 2026 counselling process, candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility requirements. Applicants should be Indian citizens and must belong to either Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. They are also required to fulfil the local or non-local status conditions specified under the admission guidelines.

In addition, candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination, while those belonging to reserved categories are eligible with a minimum of 45% marks. Only candidates satisfying these criteria will be considered for admission to the participating institutes through TS PGECET counselling.
