Subscribe NowNEW DELHI, JULY 5: TS SET 2019 exam has begun. TS SET is scheduled to be conducted on two days, July 5, and 6. TS SET 2019 exam is being conducted by Osmania University, Telangana on behalf of Telangana State Government at exam centres located in 10 cities across the state. The exam is being conducted in two shifts - morning (9 am to 12 pm) and afternoon (2 pm to 5 pm). Exam for different subjects will be conducted in different shifts.
Candidates who carried printout of TS SET 2019 admit card and a valid identity proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID or Driving License were permitted to appear for the exam.
TS SET 2019 is being conducted for 29 different subjects. As per the exam pattern of TS SET, there are two papers - Paper I and II. Paper I consists of 50 questions while Paper II has 100. Candidates are being given 3 hours to complete both papers. All questions are compulsory and carry 2 marks each. Paper I is generic and is designed to test the teaching ability of the candidate. It includes questions of reasoning ability, divergent thinking, research aptitude and teaching ability. Paper II has questions of the subject opted by the candidate.
Candidates who qualify TS SET will be eligible to apply as Assistant Professors and Lecturers in degree colleges and universities across Telangana. More than 50 thousand candidates appear for TS SET last year.
