TSBIE declares first term holidays for Telangana junior colleges from October 6 to 13

TSBIE has extended Telangana Inter first-year admission 2024-25 deadline till October 15.

NEW DELHI: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has announced the first term holidays for junior colleges across the state. According to the TSBIE official press release, all government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and welfare institutions offering the two-year Intermediate course will observe holidays from October 6 to October 13, 2024. Colleges are expected to reopen on October 14, 2024.

The announcement applies to institutions including TG Residential, TG Social Welfare Residential, TG Tribal Welfare Residential, TG Model Schools, TG BC Welfare, TMRJC, KGBV, and incentive junior colleges. In line with this, all District Intermediate Education Officers (DIEOs) have been instructed to ensure that college managements strictly adhere to the holiday schedule.

The TSBIE official notice read, “The Principals of all the Government/Private Aided/Private Un-Aided/ Co-Operative/ TG Residential/ TG Social Welfare Residential/TG Tribal Welfare Residential/TG Model Schools/ TG BC Welfare/ TMRJC/KGBV /Incentive Junior Colleges and Composite Degree Colleges offering two year Intermediate Course are informed that, the first term holidays for Junior Colleges are declared from 06-10-2024 to 13-10-2024 (Including both days) and shall be reopened on dt:14-10-2024. In this connection, all the DIEOs in the State are hereby instructed to give wide publicity in your Jurisdiction and see that all the college managements should adhere to the above schedule.”

Telangana Inter first-year admission 2024-25 deadline extended till October 15

The TSBIE has extended the deadline for first-year intermediate admissions for the academic year 2024-25. The new deadline for students to complete their admissions has been extended till October 15, 2024. However, the reason for this extension has not been revealed. Earlier the deadline was extended to September 15, 2024.

Parents and students are urged to verify the affiliation of their chosen junior colleges before proceeding with the admissions. The list of affiliated colleges is available on the official TSBIE websites: acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

According to the notice issued by TSBIE, admissions into government and government sector junior colleges can be completed without any late fees. However, students applying to private junior colleges will be required to pay a late fee of Rs 500.
