TSCHE postpones EAMCET, PGECET and ECET; application last date extended

NEW DELHI: Telangana State Council of Higher Education has announced the postponement of Common Entrance Tests (CET). According to the notification, TS EAMCET, TS ECET and TS PGECET have been postponed due to COVID-19. New dates are expected to be announced soon.

The authorities have also extended the final date to submit the application form without late fee till May 5, 2020. Previously, the authorities had extended the last application date for TS EAMCET 2020 and TS ECET 2020 till April 20. For TS PGECET 2020, the final date to submit the application form was April 30, 2020.

TS EAMCET 2020 is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Hyderabad to provide B.Tech admissions into the participating institutes of the state. Similarly, TS ECET 2020 is being conducted by the same for lateral admissions into the 2nd year of B.Tech course. Osmania University, Hyderabad is responsible for TS PGECET 2020 which allots students into the engineering postgraduate programs offered by the participating institutes.

Along with EAMCET, ECET and PGECET, the authorities have also postponed other exams such as ICET, PECET, LAWCET, PGLCET and EdCET 2020.
