NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released the official UCEED 2022 notification on September 01. The UCEED notification mentions details such as registration dates, exam dates, eligibility criteria, reservation policy and more. Candidates can fill UCEED 2022 application form from September 09 on the website, uceed.iitb.ac.in. The last date to fill the UCEED registration form is October 10, 2021 (with regular fee) and October 17, 2021 (with late fee).
Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) will be conducted on January 23, 2022 in 24 cities across the country. Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor Degree programme in Design (BDes) at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur (IIITDMJ) must appear for UCEED 2022.

Before starting UCEED 2022 registration, candidates must check and meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1997, if they belong to the General/ Open/ EWS/ OBC-NCL category. However, aspirants from SC/ ST/ PwD category should have been born on or after October 1, 1992.
Candidates who have cleared class 12 or equivalent (qualifying) examination in 2021 or are appearing for the exams in 2022 are eligible to apply.
Those appearing in the 10+2 final exam in 2022 can also appear in the UCEED exam.
A candidate can be a student of any disciple such as Arts & Humanities, Science, and Commerce.
Aspirants can attempt the UCEED exam for a maximum of two times in a consecutive year.
Step 1: Visit the official website- uceed.iitb.ac.in.
Step 2: Register for UCEED 2022 using providing the required details - candidate's name, mobile number and email address.
Step 3: Fill personal and educational details in the UCEED application form 2022.
Step 4: Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature.
Step 5: Pay the UCEED application fee.

UCEED is conducted by IIT Bombay under the guidance of the UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee every year to offer admission to eligible candidates in Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes offered by colleges accepting UCEED scores. The duration of the UCEED exam is three hours. Part A is a computer-based test and the question paper consists of three sections - Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Question (MSQ) and Multiple Choice Question (MCQ). Part B of the test contains one sketching question which needs to be solved in the provided answer sheet.
