UCEED 2025 counselling registration ends today for BDes programme admission at participating IITs

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will end the registration process for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) counselling 2025 today, March 31. Eligible candidates can register for the UCEED counselling 2025 through the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in.
UCEED counselling 2025 is conducted for candidates who have qualified the UCEED entrance exam for admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at participating institutes, including Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee, and Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur.
To register for the UCEED counselling 2025, candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 4,000. To be eligible for the UCEED counselling 2025, candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2000, for the OPEN, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories, and on or after October 1, 1995, for the SC, ST, and PwD categories.

UCEED Counselling 2025: Seat allotment fee
IIT Bombay issued the UCEED seat matrix 2025, with a total of 245 BDes seats available for allotment. Seats will be allocated based on the applicant’s All India Rank (AIR) in UCEED 2025, category, and choice of institutes. Selected candidates will receive provisional allotment letters via their registered email.
Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee through the online payment system. The fee is Rs 60,000 for General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) categories, and Rs 15,000 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories.
