NEW DELHI: JS Institute of Design (JSID) has announced that it will provide scholarships to students who have qualified for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED), and obtained a rank up to 2000.
The design institute will provide 25% scholarships to the UCEED qualified students on tuition fees for undergraduate degree programmes in design, as per the official statement.

These services have become essential for creating new products and services in the country. Keeping up with these trends, we are dedicated to helping our students develop their creative abilities. This scholarship is how we show our appreciation and offer support to meritorious students who have a natural talent for design."
As per the institute, the Indian design industry is growing by 25% annually across multiple disciplines, including graphic, interior, and fashion design.
The JSID provides UG and postgraduate (PG) programmes in design across various domains such as interior design, advertising design, visuals communication, and games design.

The UG degree programmes at the institute with scholarship benefits under UCEED are as follows:
Students should have completed Class 12 from a recognised board for admission in the UG programmes. To be eligible for the PG courses, candidates must have completed graduation from any field.
Candidates must take a Creative Intelligence Test (CIT), followed by a personal interview, to get enrolled in the courses at JSID. The CIT is conducted to assess the candidate’s creative, spatial reasoning, and general design knowledge. Notably, there will no CIT exam for students with UCEED scores.
