NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has issued the examination schedule for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2025 today, October 1. As per the schedule, the UCEED 2025 will be held on January 19, 2025, in a single shift from 9 am to 12 noon.
The institute will commence the registration process for UCEED 2025 today, October 1, at 1 pm. Eligible candidates can fill out the UCEED 2025 application form through the official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The last date to register for the UCEED 2025 with the regular fee is October 31, 2024. UCEED 2025 will be conducted in 27 cities across India. Candidates must choose three cities of their preference, listed in order of priority, during the online registration process.
UCEED 2025: Eligibility criteria
Candidates, including foreign nationals, must fulfil every one of the following three criteria to appear in UCEED 2025.
- Age Limit: Candidates from the open, economically weaker sections (EWS), and other backward classes – non-creamy layer (OBC-NCL) must be born on or after October 1, 2000. Those from the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), or persons with disabilities (PwD) categories should be born on or after October 1, 1995.
- Number of Attempts: A candidate may attempt the UCEED a maximum of two times, only in consecutive years. The UCEED score is valid for one year and applies solely to admissions for that academic year.
- Qualifying Examination: To be eligible for UCEED 2025, a candidate must have appeared for the Class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in 2024 or 2025. Students from all streams including science, commerce, and arts, humanities are eligible. Candidates who first appeared in 2023 or earlier are not eligible.
