As per the updates on the UCEED, CEED official website, other important dates and information regarding the design entrance exam will be announced by October 1.
The UCEED exam is held for admissions to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) and CEED for the Master of Design (MDes) and PhD programmes.
IIT Bombay conducts the entrance exam once a year for admissions to design programmes of IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Roorkee, and other institutions accepting UCCED, CEED scores.

The design entrance exam assesses candidates’ aptitude for design, visual perception ability, logical reasoning, creativity, and communication skills. Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam are invited to participate in the UCEED, CEED counselling process for admissions.
According to the UCEED 2025 result statistics, a total of 15,408 candidates appeared last year, of whom 5,703 qualified. Out of the total qualifiers, 3,420 were female and 2,283 were male. As per the UCEED 2025 toppers list , Shreyansh Agarwal secured AIR 1 with 230.16 marks out of 300 marks, and Manasvi Saratchandar, the female UCEED 2025 topper, secured AIR 9 with 201.53 marks.
