UGC and CSIR NET 2020 dates to be announced soon-HRD Minister

NEW DELHI- Clearing the air about the new entrance exam date for UGC and CSIR NET, Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal in an interactive session over different platforms of social media confirmed that the new dates for the exam will be announced anytime soon. In wake of COVID19, the registration date for the entrance exam was extended but almost a month for both the exams.

About UGC NET and CSIR NET Exam
The National Testing Agency (NTA) which will conduct the exam had not declared any new date pertaining to the two exams. Previously the UGC NET exam was supposed to be held on June 15, 2020 and the CSIR NET was to be conducted on June 21. The CSIR NET 2020 exam is conducted for availing Junior Research Fellowship and determining the eligibility of the candidates as assistant professors and lecturers. Those candidates who clear the UGC NET, they will be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor
