UGC NET 2018 admit card released on November 19; Check how to download

New Delhi, November 19: National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the admit card of UGC NET 2018 for December Session on November 19. The admit card is made available online only for those candidates who have registered for the exam. Candidates can download their respective admit cards by entering their application number and password in the login window. Candidates must also note that the admit card is not sent through post or any other medium.

UGC NET 2018 admit card contains information name of the candidate, roll number, name of father, address, email ID, subject name, subject code, exam centre address, date and timings, application number, photograph and signature, and important instructions. After downloading the admit card, candidates are advised to cross check all the details are correct or not.
In case of discrepancies in UGC NET admit card 2018, candidates must contact the Commission and get it rectified between November 19 to 25, 2018 ( 10 am to 5 pm). In such a case, candidates have to appear with the already downloaded admit card.
Along with the admit card of UGC NET 2018, candidates must carry anyone of photo-identity proofs (Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN card, Passport or Government issued identity card) to the examination centre.
The link to download the admit card will remain active until the day of examination, which is scheduled to held from December 18 to 22 in computer based mode. The exam will be conducted in two shifts – 1 and 2 from Tuesday to Saturday. Shift 1 will be held from 9:30 am to 1 pm while Shift 2 will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 6 pm. The online exam will be held for two papers - I and II. Paper I will have 50 questions whereas Paper II will carry 100 questions. Each correct question will be awarded 2 marks. No negative marking will be applicable for incorrect answers.
The June session of UGC NET 2018 was conducted by CBSE. As per reports, in UGC NET 2018 June session, 55, 872 candidates have qualified in the examination.
From 2018 onwards, NTA is conducting the UGC NET to determine the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professor and awarding Junior Research Fellowship Programme (JRF).
