UGC NET 2019 June session examination concludes; Check for more details

NEW DELHI, JUNE 21: National Testing Agency has recently concluded UGC NET 2019 examination for June session on June 28, 2019. Examination of UGC NET was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in online mode across various center in india. This exam was commenced from June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and concluded on June 28 across 266 exam cities in different states of India.After the exam was concluded the authority has uploaded the questions papers and the response sheet of the candidates, which candidates can check after entering the basic registration details.

UGC NET examination was held for two papers – Paper 1 and 2. Paper 1 was common paper for all the candidates, while Paper 2 was for subjects opted by the students as per their academic educational background.

Paper 1 contains a total of 100 marks where candidates had to answer 50 questions of 2 marks each. There is no negative marking in the exam, in case the candidates have given any wrong responses then there will be no deduction in their marks. In Paper 2, candidates had to answer 100 questions of 200 marks. This means that each correct answer will fetch them 2 marks. Like Paper I, in Paper II also no negative marking will be done.

Since, the exam has concluded, the answer key of UGC NET 2019 will be soon available on the authority’s. Candidates will be able to find the correct answers to questions which have been asked in the exam.

UGC NET exam 2019 is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates as Assistant Professors and to award Junior Research Fellowship. This exam is conducted Biannual - June and December. In the UGC NET exam conducted in June 2018, a total of 44001 (Assistant Professor) and 3883 (JRF & Assistant Professor) candidates qualified.
