NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency ( NTA) has released guidelines to minimise the risk of coronavirus infection for candidates appearing in the UGC NET 2020 test amidst the COVID 19 pandemic. Social distance and mask use are the most relevant requirements to be followed at the UGC NET 2020 exam centre. Applicants for the UGC NET 2020 exam must download the UGC NET 2020 admit card in advance from the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in.-for exams scheduled for October 9 and 17. Aspirants can also review the 2020 UGC NET exam analysis to understand the trend of the upcoming question paper.

UGC NET 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

Carrying Important Documents:
Aspirants need to carry the UGC NET 2020 admit card along with photo-identity proof. The photo identity proof must be carried in both the original and photocopy.

Ration Card
COVID-19 Essentials
To lower the risk of getting infected, NTA released the preventive measures for the students. As per these guidelines, candidates should carry some of the COVID-19 essentials. Check below the list of essentials:
Mask (WEARING A MASK is COMPULSORY)
Gloves
Personal transparent water bottle
Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
A simple pen
Reach On Time:
It is important to reach the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the commencement of UGC NET 2020 exam so that the proper guidelines will be followed.
Social Distancing
The government guidelines of social distancing must be followed at the UGC NET 2020 exam centre. As per the social distancing guidelines, maintaining the distance of 6 ft between two people is compulsory.
Sanitization:
The proper sanitization at the UGC NET 2020 exam centre is mandatory along with the temperature check at the entrance gate. The temperature will be check using the thermo guns.
Aarogya Setu App:
The Aarogya Setu app must be installed in the candidates’ smartphone. As[pirants with the moderate and risk status are not allowed in the examination venue.
If any person is found to have an above-normal temperature (> 99.14 ° F) or to have any symptoms of the virus, entry into the venue will not be permitted.
Don’t Panic
Students must not panic in the UGC NET 2020 exam. If you feel any kind of stress or nervousness. Drink water and keep yourself calm.
Note: Post examination, candidates are advised to take proper care of themselves. They must visit a doctor or isolate themselves if there is any sign of COVID-19.
