UGC NET 2021 exam dates announced - Application process begins

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET 2021 entrance exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor on May 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 17. Last year the UGC NET exam was conducted only once due to COVID-19 pandemic situation. In the official circular, it is mentioned that the UGC NET 2021 application form has been released on the official website and the last date to register is March 2, 2021

UGC NET 2021 exam will have two papers. Paper 1 of UGC NET 2021 will be of 100 marks and candidates should try to answer at least 50 questions. UGC NET 2021 paper 2 will be of 200 marks and candidates will be expected to answer 100 questions. The education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, announced the UGC NET 2021 exam dates on Twitter.

About the UGC NET 2021 Exam

The UGC NET 2021 exam is conducted in computer-based mode and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or Eligibility for Assistant Professorship is awarded to the candidates based on their performance in the entrance exam. Those candidates who clear the UGC NET exam for Assistant Professorship, will not be eligible for JRF.
