NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency will close the UGC NET registration window on March 2 (today). Candidates who have not filled the UGC NET application form 2021 can visit the official website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in - to complete the UGC NET 2021 registration. Students are advised to check the UGC NET eligibility criteria before filling the application form for the UGC NET 2021. The NTA has released the UGC NET 2021 notification on February 2, 2021

The UGC NET application form 2021 is available for the December-2020 cycle. Last year, the UGC NET exam was conducted only for the June session because of the coronavirus pandemic. As per the latest UGC NET exam dates 2021, the exam is scheduled from May 2.

Candidates must read all the important information before starting the registration process and should be more careful while filling the application form. Mentioned below the important steps to fill the application form of UGC NET 2021:

• Visit NTA website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in

• Click on the link for “Online application”

• Enter email id and mobile phone number to complete registration process.

• The registration number and password will be sent on the applicant’s email id.

• Using that registration number, login and complete the application form.

• Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature in the specification prescribed

• Pay the application fee in online mode

• Submit the application form for UGC NET 2021

• Candidates are advised to take print out of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.

Important documents to keep ready before filling the UGC NET 2021 application form:

• Scanned copy of photograph (10 kb - 200 kb) and signature (4 kb - 30 kb)

• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, graduation certificate and other academic certificates

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• PWD certificate (if applicable)

• If the results are not released. candidates have to submit the attestation form, attested by the HoD from the university.

• Bank details for fee payment

NTA conducts a UGC NET (national level exam) in online mode twice every year in June and December. Candidates with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in master’s degree from a recognised university will be eligible to apply online in the relevant subject.
