UGC NET 2024 exam on June 18; last-minute preparation tips to score well

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024) June session on June 18. The exam will be held in OMR-based pen-and-paper test mode. With just three days left for the exam, candidates are advised to go through the exam day guidelines and last-minute preparation tips to score better.

Candidates are recommended to reach the NET June 2024 exam centre at least an hour before the examination. The UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts for a duration of 3 hours each. Here are some UGC NET last-minute tips that may help candidates with exam stress.

  • A good revision of all the UGC NET important topics will be beneficial to the candidates during this time. Various ways for revising effectively are by using flash cards, short notes and by using simple sticky notes. They should avoid learning new topics last-minute.

  • Continuous practice of UGC NET mock tests will help candidates build their confidence, learn better and improve their time management. So, candidates are recommended to take NET mock tests every single day including the day before the examination.

  • The UGC NET admit card 2024 June is available to download on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates are advised to keep all documents ready a day before the NET exam date.

  • The NTA has notified do’s and don'ts in the admit card. Candidates are required to go through all the guidelines in advance before the UGC NET exam date 2024.

  • Stay calm and collected - Students are advised to have a good night sleep, eating healthy food, and by practising simple exercises.

  • When nervous, practising breathing exercises like deep breathing and meditation will help with relaxation.

  • Reach the NET 2024 exam centre an hour before.

  • When stuck at a question, use smart guessing techniques to answer. It might increase the chances of getting the question right.
