UGC NET 2025 December exam schedule announced for assistant professor, JRF, PhD; subject-wise dates

UGC NET Admit Card 2025: The NTA will issue the NET exam city intimation slip 10 days before the exam date, ie, by December 21, on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2025) December session. As per the UGC NET 2025 exam dates, the NTA will conduct the exam from December 31 to January 7.
As per the schedule, the NTA will issue the computer-based UGC NET 2025 city intimation slip at least 10 days before the exam. Accordingly, candidates can expect the UGC NET 2025 exam city slip download link around December 21.
Candidates can check their allotted exam city through the city intimation slip, and the UGC NET 2025 admit card will be issued afterwards. The UGC NET December 2025 exam will be held to assess candidates’ eligibility for assistant professor posts, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions.

UGC NET December 2025: Exam schedule, timing
The UGC NET 2025 exam schedule for the December session is provided below, listed by subject. The morning shift will run from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
