UGC NET June 2025 answer key likely today; marking scheme, qualifying criteria

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to issue the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2025) provisional answer key soon for the June 2025 session. As per past trends, the NTA uploads the UGC NET answer key within a week after completion of the exams. UGC NET Answer Key 2025 LIVE

The NTA conducted the UGC NET June 2025 for 85 subjects from June 25 to 29. The national-level exam is held to determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment of assistant professor, and admission to PhD courses.

The NTA is yet to announce the UGC NET result and answer key release date. The UGC NET answer key download link will be hosted on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

As per the marking scheme, each correct answer will fetch 2 marks and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key will be permitted to challenge the answers by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.

UGC NET answer key release date

For the last session, the exams were held from January 3 to 27. The provisional answer key was issued on February 1, five days after the exams. The NTA issued the provisional answer key for the exams held from August 27 to September 5, just two days after the final exam date, September 7.

The NTA held the last exam for the June 2025 session on June 29, the answer key expected to be out today or latest by tomorrow, as per past trends.
