The UGC NET admit card 2025 is issued at least four days before the exam date. The NTA will commence the national-level exam on December 31.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the city intimation slip for the University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2025) December session. Candidates can download the UGC NET 2025 city slip on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The NTA will conduct the UGC NET 2025 exam for 85 subjects from December 31 to January 7. The UGC NET exam for December will be conducted in two shifts. The morning session exam will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, and the afternoon session exam will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The UGC NET 2025 city slip is different from the admit card. It only informs candidates about the city where their exam centre is likely to be located. The UGC NET admit card, in contrast, provides full details, including the candidate’s name, exam date, shift timings, and the exact venue address.

The UG NET admit card for the December session will be available for download 4 days before the exam, on December 27.
UGC NET city intimation slip 2025: Steps to download
To download the advanced city information slip for the UGC NET 2025 exam, follow the instructions below.
- Go to the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘Advance City Intimation for UGC-NET Dec 2025’ link.
- Enter the application number, date of birth, and security pin.
- The UGC NET December city slip will be displayed.
- Download the city intimation slip and check the allotted city.
The UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted to assess the eligibility of candidates for assistant professor positions, junior research fellowship (JRF), and doctoral program admissions.
