UGC NET final answer key out for December 2024 session; download at ugcnet.nta.ac.in

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 final answer key. Candidates who appeared in the exams held for 85 subjects from January 3 to 27 will be able to download the UGC NET answer key through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The NTA uploaded the provisional answer key on January 31 and allowed candidates to raise objections till February 3. A total of 6,49,490 candidates appeared in the computer-based exam held at 266 cities in India and recorded an overall attendance of 76.5%. NET is an eligibility exam for assistant professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions.

The UGC NET final answer key PDF download link is available at the NTA official websites, nta.ac.in and ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The NTA NET question paper had multiple-choice questions with four options. Each question carries 2 marks and there is no negative marking for incorrect response. No marks will be awarded for unattempted or questions that are marked for review.

“If a question is found to be incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers are given the credit,” the NTA said.

Two marks will be awarded to candidates who have attempted the question that is found to be incorrect or dropped, as per the marking scheme.

The UGC NET results has been prepared based on the final answer key. “No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after the declaration of result/NTA Score of UGC - NET December 2024 will be entertained,” it added.

• Click on the ‘UGC NET December 2024 result for assistant professor, JRF, PhD admissions’ link.
• Now, enter your UGC NET application number, date of birth, and security pin.
• The UGC NET final answer key PDF download link will be displayed.
• Check the answers and number of questions dropped in the selected subject, if any.
• Cross check the answers with your UGC NET response sheet to calculate the probable score.
• Download the UGC NET final answer key for future reference.
