University of Calcutta Results 2024: Students can check their UG semester exam results for BA, BCom, and BSc programmes online at wbresults.nic.in.
NEW DELHI: The University of Calcutta (CU) has officially announced the results for the undergraduate (UG) semester exams. Students who appeared for these exams can now check their results online by visiting wbresults.nic.in.
This announcement specifically includes the results for the semester-I examinations in Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Science (BSc) programmes.
How to download Calcutta University results 2024
To access their results, Calcutta University students can follow these steps.

Visit the official results website at wbresults.nic.in.

On the homepage, locate and click on the link 'B.A./B.Sc. Semester-I (Honours/ General/ Major) Examinations, 2023 (Under CBCS).'

Enter your roll number in the designated field.

Submit the information by clicking on the submit button.

Your semester result will then be displayed on the screen.

Save a copy of the result by downloading it.
In addition to Semester-I results, CU has also declared results for the 5th semester of BA and BSc courses and the 2nd semester of various undergraduate programmes. Students can check these results by following the same steps mentioned above.
Calcutta University new admissions 2024
Calcutta University has also recently revised its Bachelor of Technology (BTech) admission process, now requiring all seats to be filled through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) rankings. Previously, 40% of seats were reserved for science graduates who didn't need to take the JEE. A limited number of students from specific BSc programs can still enter the third semester via the Joint Entrance Lateral Engineering Test (JELET).
