“The objective of this project is to develop an ASIC for reconstructing the compressed samples by the healthcare IoT nodes. In a tough competition, the proposal from CASEST was one of only 60 proposals selected from all over India,” said the statement from University of Hyderabad.

VLSI design, integrated circuit technologies

The team of CASEST includes Hyderabad University professors Samrat L Sabat, SVS Nageswara Rao, Bhawna Gomber, and Anjali Priya. The project will give training to 400 graduates, postgraduates, and PhD scholars in the areas of very large-scale integration (VLSI) design, integrated circuit (IC) technologies, and microelectronics. The project will also contribute to research and development, as well as the development of skilled human resources required for India's National Semiconductor Mission.
