NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the final merit list of the UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2019 on its official website @upbasiceduboard.gov.in. The merit list has been released in the form of PDF containing the application number, registration number, date of birth, name of the qualified candidates, father's name and the allotted district name. As per the result PDF a total of 67867 candidates have been shortlisted for the announced 69000 posts.

What after the announcement of the UP Assistant Teachers Result?
All the qualified candidates will now have to go through a counselling session and document verification process at their respective district between June 3 to 6. Candidates must have their original documents and education certificates. After all these processes, the schools will be allotted to the candidates and the joining letters will be given.
About UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment
The recruitment exam was conducted on January 6, 2019, after which the government had imposed an increase in the cut off score for recruiting the Assistant Teachers to 65% for general category and 60% for reserved category candidates which led the candidates to move to court. Later on May 6, the Allahabad High court gave verdict in the favour of raising the cut off scores.
