UP Board Class 10, 12 results 2024 by the end of April; last 5 years’ pass percentage

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board (UPMSP) has completed the UP Board Class 10 and 12 evaluation 2024 in a record time of 12 days. A total 55,25,308 students registered for the UPMSP 10th, 12th board exam 2024 are awaiting the results. As per the latest update, the UP Board is preparing to declare the board exam results by the end of April; likely by April 25.

Of the total 55 lakh registered students, 29,47,311 students had applied for UP Board Madhyamik exams and 25,77,997 for UP Inter Class 12 board exam 2024. The board informed that 94,802 examiners evaluated 1.76 crore Class 10 answer sheets and 52,295 examiners checked 1.25 crore Class 12 answer sheets.

Last year, the state board announced that it was the fastest declaration of results in 100 years. The results for both classes were declared on April 25 last year at upmsp.edu.in.

This year, the UP Board Class 10th, 12th exams 2024 were held from February 22 to March 9. Security measures were taken to prevent use of unfair means. The board also had installed over 2.90 lakh CCTV cameras with voice recorders in 1.35 lakh exam rooms and premises of all 8,265 examination centres.

The board also observed that the number of cheating and impersonation cases dropped significantly compared to 2023. Cheating cases decreased from 127 to 48 this year and the number of pseudo candidates caught taking exams in place of someone else reduced from 133 to 37.
