Shikha Verma has topped the UP Board Class 12 exam 2026 with 97.60%. Last year, Mahak Jaiswal had grabbed the top rank with 486 marks, and the overall pass percentage stood at 81.15%.
UP board class 12 students had to secure a minimum of 33% marks to pass. Students who score below this minimum in one or more subjects are not declared pass and have to appear for compartment examinations. These exams provided students with another opportunity to improve their scores without losing an academic year, helping them continue their studies without significant delay.
