NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the OMR sheet sample for Class 9 exams. The UP Board Class 9 exam will be held for a total of 70 marks, in which, questions of 20 marks will be objective in nature.
These 20 marks questions will be MCQ based and the answers to these questions are to be submitted through OMR sheets only. In the MCQ based paper, there will be a total of 20 questions carrying 1 mark each.
The rest 50 marks paper will be descriptive in nature. The answers to these questions are to be written in the answer sheets. In the descriptive paper of UPMSP 9th exams 2022, questions from higher order thinking skills (HOTS) will also be included.

Half-yearly exam will be held for 70 marks.
50 marks of paper will be descriptive, while 20 marks of paper will be objective in nature.
The annual exam will be conducted similarly to the pattern of half-yearly exams.
Internal assessment will be of 30 marks.
Hence, the total marks for UP Board Class 9 exams will be 70+70+30 = 170

Pre-board exams will be conducted in the month of February 2022. The total marks for pre-board exams will be 70 marks.
Internal assessment for Class 10 will be of 30 marks.
