UP Board Exam 2022: 51.27 lakh to appear for Class 10, 12 exams; Lower than last year
Around 27,70 lakh students have applied for the UP Board Class 10 exam 2022, while 23,56 lakh registered for the UP Board Class 12 exams. Numbers decreased by 5 lakh.

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has closed the UP Board exam 2022 registration window for Class 10, 12 students. Over 51 lakh students have applied for the UP Board Class 10, 12 exam 2022. The number of students who registered for the UP Board exam 2022 is less than the previous year.
According to the officials, “Around 27,70 lakh students have applied for the UP Board Class 10 exam 2022, while 23,56 lakh registered for the UP Board Class 12 exams.” On the other hand, 31,78,305 registered for Class 9 and 26,62,303 for Class 11, taking the total to 58,40,608.

The number of students registered for the UP board exam decreased by 5 lakhs this year. In 2021, a total of 56,03,813 candidates had registered for the Uttar Pradesh Class 10, 12 examinations.
The last date to apply for the UP Board exam 2022 was October 19, however, the board extended the deadline of registration to November 8 for UP Board high school and intermediate students. The last date to register was also extended for Class 9 and 11 till November 8.
The board had also released the academic calendar for UP board Class 10, 12 exams 2022 on the official website, upmsp.edu.in. This year, Class 10, 12 UP board theory exam 2022 will be conducted in the last week of March 2022. While practical exams of UPMSP 10th, 12th 2022 will be held in the last week of February 2022.
