UP Board exam date clashes with UP Panchayat election dates 2021; Know details here

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) may change the exam dates of Class 10 and 12 board exams as it clashes with the UP Panchayat Elections 2021. The state election commission will conduct the panchayat elections in 4 stages till May 12, 2021. Therefore, the Election Commission has requested the board to postpone the UP board exam dates 2021.

As per the reports published in News18, “The State Election Commission has requested the government to postpone the UP board examinations for two weeks. Actually, after the High Court's decision on reservation, now elections are to be held by May 12, in such a situation, the Election Commission has requested a change in the date of board examinations.”

UPMSP has released the UP Board scheme 2021 on February 10. As per the UP Board time table 2021, the exams are scheduled to be conducted from April 24 to May 12, 2021. The exams will be conducted in two shifts - the morning shift will start from 8 am to 11:15 am and the evening shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
