NEW DELHI: Amid heavy rains pelting the state, the Uttar Pradesh Board will be conducting the UP Board improvement exams 2021 for Classes 10, 12 today, September 18. The UP government had issued an order to close schools, colleges and all educational institutions on September 17 and 18 due to rainfall.
However, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parisha had announced that schools that have been made the examination centres for high school and intermediate improvement 2021 examination will be opened and the exams will be held as per schedule.
Students could apply for the UP Board Class 10, 12 improvement exams till August 27, 2021. Students who were not satisfied with the UP Board 10th, 12th result 2021 declared by UPMSP on July 31 could apply for the improvement exam on the official website - upmsp.edu.in.
Regular students who scored low marks, candidates whose results were in the withheld category, students who were absent could also apply for the improvement examination.
The marks obtained in the improvement exams will be considered final.
This year, a total of 29,96,031 students appeared for UP Board Class 10 exams 2021 of which 29,82,055 students have passed the exams. While as many as 26,10,247 students appeared for UP Board Class 12 exams 2021 of which 25,54,813 have passed. The overall pass percentage of Class 10 was 99.53%, and Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 97.88%.
