UP Board Result 2022: 163 inmates lodged in jails clear 10th, 12th board exams
103 jail inmates appeared in Class 10 exam and recorded 92.23% pass percentage whereas 96 appeared in 12th board exam and 70.83% passed.

PRAYAGARAJ: A total of 163 inmates lodged in various prisons of the state cleared the UP board exams conducted by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), official said on Saturday. Results for both Class 10th and 12th were declared at 2 and 4 pm, respectively, on Saturday. Total 95 inmates cleared the Class 10th board exam while 68 cleared the Class 12th exam.
As per UP board officials, a total of 103 inmates appeared in the Class 10th exam from 12 district jails, 95 of which cleared the exam with a pass percentage of 92.23. Total 96 inmates from 16 district jails appeared in the 12th exam of which 68 cleared the exam, making a pass percentage of 70.83, officials said.
Majority of the inmates who appeared in the board exams were from Ghaziabad district jail. While 33 inmates of the jail appeared in class 10th exam of which 31 cleared it. 25 other inmates appeared in the class 12th exam and cleared it, officials added.

Prince Patel from Kanpur has topped UP Board Class 10 exam 2022 and Divyanshi has bagged Rank 1 in Class 12 exam. 85.33% is the overall pass percentage in UP Board 12th result 2022 and 88.18% students have passed in UP Board 10th result 2022 this year.
A total of 24,10,971 students had registered for UP Board Class 12 exam 2022 out of which 22,37,578 appeared. Of the total students who appeared for 12th board exam, 9,80,543 boys and 9,28,706 girls have passed the exam.
Whereas, a total of 25,20,734 students appeared in Class 10 exam this year out of which 22,22,457 have been declared pass. Of the total students who passed the 10th board exam, 11,79,488 are boys and 10,53,257 are girl students.
