UP Board Result 2024: UPMSP cautions against fraud calls to increase marks, pass students

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board (UPMSP) has warned students and their parents against phone calls by cyber fraudsters luring them of increasing their marks and passing them in UP 10th, 12th board exams 2024.

UPMSP asked UP Board Class 10, 12 candidates and guardians to inform the district school inspector in case they receive such phone calls.

“The general public is informed that some cyber thugs are making a malicious attempt to cheat the candidates and their parents by demanding money by luring the students who appeared in the High School and Intermediate examination of the year 2024 of the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh of increasing their marks and passing them,” the board said in an official statement.

In the past years also, to alert the general public about such incidents, a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against the cyber fraudsters who were making such fraudulent attempts.

“Therefore, all the candidates and their parents are requested to never pay heed to such phone calls from cyber fraudsters and do not get tempted. If you receive such phone calls, immediately inform the District School Inspector of your district,” UPMSP added.

The board is planning to declare UP Class 10, 12 result 2024 by the end of April. Recently, the board secretary informed that the evaluation of Class 10, 12 board exams has been completed in 12 days.

A total of 55,25,308 students registered for UP Madhyamik, Intermediate exams 2024 of which 29,47,311 students registered for UP Board Madhyamik exams 2024 and 25,77,997 were for UP Board Inter exams 2024. The state board exams were conducted from February 22 to March 9.
