UP DElEd Counselling 2023: Seat locking process under way; report at institutes till October 17

NEW DELHI: Students allotted seats in Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) in Uttar Pradesh Colleges will have to lock the allotted seat and report to the college before October 17.

The Examination Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, had uploaded the seat allotment result of the UP DElEd on September 25. Candidates can download the result and allotment card on the official website, updeled.gov.in.

The authority had issued the state ranking of 3,36,572 candidates who had applied for the first phase of Up DElEd counselling 2023. The seat matrix of the number of seats allotted, and the vacant seats in various district education and training institutes and private DElEd colleges has also been uploaded on the official website.

UP DElEd: How to download allotment letter

Students will have to report at the institutes with the UP DElEd counselling allotment letter. They can download the allotment letter by October 15 till 5 pm by following these steps:

• Visit the official website at updeled.gov.in
• On the homepage, click on the allotment result link
• Key in your login details
• Check the UP DElEd seat allocation result
• Take a printout for future reference.

Students can lock the seats by clicking on the ‘freeze’ option if they are satisfied with the allotted colleges. They can also choose the ‘slide’ option if they want to shift to a higher ranked institute in the second phase of UP DElEd counselling 2023. They can choose ‘exit’ if they want to withdraw from the process.

Candidates who have not been allotted seats in the first round of counselling process in the preferred order of the institutes, then the candidate will be allowed to fill the choice of training institutes again in the subsequent rounds.
