UP Govt postponed all competitive exams till April 2 - Check Details

NEW DELHI: UP Government has made an announcement on March 17 to postpone all the competitive exams till April 2, 2020 due to CoronaVirus breakout. The commission will now release fresh exam dates for all the upcoming exams in due course of time. All applicants are advised to keep a check on the official website. Earlier the commission has also announced to close all the schools and colleges till April 2.

The UPPSC Block Education Officer (BEO) exam was scheduled to be conducted on March 22 across the state. Earlier Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission had released the admit card of the BEO exam on March 11 at its official website. Candidates can expect UPPSC BEO exam dates for 2020 anytime soon after April 2.

As per the reports, many candidates requested the commission to postpone exams due to the global outbreak of coronavirus. The UP government also told citizens to stay away from crowded places and college campuses. Earlier WHO has also announced a world emergency due to COVID-19.

UPPSC BEO official notification was released on December 13, 2019. The exam is conducted in three stages - prelims exam, mains exam and interview. This year the commission has released 309 vacancies for the recruitment of Block Education Officers.
