NEW DELHI: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh will commence the stray vacancy round registration for UP NEET PG counselling 2023 today at 11 am. Candidates who wish to participate in the last round of state counselling through National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduaate will have to register on the official website, upneet.gov.in.

As per the official schedule, the last date to register is October 13 while applicants can pay the security deposit by October 14.
Only those candidates are applicable for UP NEET PG stray vacancy round counselling who were not allotted a seat in the first, second, or the mop-up rounds. Applicants are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 2,000 to register afresh for the stray vacancy round.
It is also mandatory for the candidates to pay a security deposit of 30,000 if they are applying for state government medical colleges, Rs 2 lakh for state private medical colleges, and Rs 1 lakh for state dental colleges. Those students who already paid the security deposit in any previous round of counselling are not required to submit again.
The directorate informed that if a candidate does not join the seat allotted in the stray vacancy round, their security deposit will be forfeited and they will become ineligible for state medical and dental counselling.
