New Delhi, June 20: Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow will start the registration process of UP NEET UG 2019 counselling on June 21. The registration process will be conducted in online mode and is open to NEET 2019-qualified candidates; such candidates however need to meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, including that of domicile. The last date to register is June 24, after which no applications will be accepted.
A total of around 3,920 MBBS seats will be offered through UP MBBS 2019 counselling; these include 1,670 seats in government colleges and another 2250 seats in private and minority medical institutes. As for BDS course, 51 seats are available at government colleges, whereas private and minority institutes offer 2,200 seats.

The counselling of UP MBBS 2019 will be conducted in online mode comprising of two rounds.
UP MBBS 2019 registration process
To start the registration process, the NEET-qualified candidate needs to go to the official registration portal and click on the registration link. This will redirect the candidate to a registration form where following details have to be entered.

Name of mother and father

Details of examination passed
Name of institute/board
Marks obtained in Chemistry, Physics and Biology

Next the candidate has to download essential documents like photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format, as shown in the table below.

In the penultimate step, pay the application fee. Different components of the fee include counselling fee of Rs. 2000 (which is non-refundable), and also security fee. For applying to government colleges, security is Rs. 30,000, whereas it is Rs. 2,00,000 for private colleges.
Finally after checking that all the details are in place, submit the form and take a printout.
What next?
Successfully registered candidates have to next participate in the choice filling and locking process. All candidates are required to participate in choice filling process, or else the candidate will not be considered for admission.
Also, the allotment of seats will be done based on both the state merit rank of the candidate and choices opted for admission.
Candidates who are allotted seats will be issued seat allotment letters, which has to be downloaded and produced at the time of admission.
