Only those candidates who submitted the original documents and completed the fee payment before the deadline were allowed to fill choices. The DGME UP also revised the UP NEET state merit list 2025 and announced that a total of 32,230 candidates were eligible for this year’s medical admission.
The UP MBBS, BDS merit list was revised to add 1,531 more eligible students for state-level NEET UG counselling.
Candidates will be allowed to download the UP NEET seat allotment letter on eight selected days - from August 18 to 23 and August 25 to 26.
UP NEET UG 2025: Refund policy
If any candidate admitted in government or private medical colleges in the first round of UP NEET counselling 2025 opts to resign from the allotted seat, they are required to submit the request up to two days before the choice filling for the second round of counselling.
The UP NEET second round counselling dates are yet to be announced. However, candidates should resign from their seat by 11 am on August 20, if the second round begins on August 22 at 11 am. Those exercising the free exit option before the deadline will be refunded their security deposit.
Additionally, all deposited fees for government medical and dental colleges, except for admission fees, will be refunded to such candidates. Those who are allotted private colleges will get their tuition fee refunded.
However, “if a candidate admitted in the first round resigns after the last date and time fixed for the first round, then the resignation rules applicable to the second round of counselling will apply to them, the officials clarified.
