UP PCS Notification 2019 Released; Apply till November 13

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 17: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the notification and application form of Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Services (UP PCS) 2019 recruitment examination. Candidates will be able to apply till November 13, 2019. The last date for the receipt of online examination fee is November 11, 2019. UP PCS 2019 prelims examination is scheduled to be conducted on December 15. This year UP Upper Subordinate Services recruitment exam will be conducted for about 300 vacancies through general recruitment, 9 vacancies through special recruitment, 2 for Assistant Conservator of Forest, and 53 for Range Forest Officer.

Click on the application form link in the important alert section under ‘Online Application for Advt. No. [ A-2/E-1/2019 , 16/10/2019 ] 'under Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Preliminary [ PCS/ACF-RFO ] Examination - 2019.'

Click on ‘Apply’ and register

Pay the requisite application fee

Proceed to fill the application form details and upload scanned images of passport-sized photograph and signature

Preview and submit
The application fee for Unreserved, OBC and EWS category candidates is Rs. 125, Rs. 65 for SC and ST candidates and Rs. 25 for handicapped candidates.
What’s New?
The Commission has made the following changes in the notification of UP PCS 2019 examination -

5 subjects have been excluded from the list of optional subjects - Social Work, Defence, Agricultural Technology, Persian and Arabic.

Candidates 13 times the number of total vacancies will be shortlisted for the mains exam instead of 18.

Candidates 2 times the number of total vacancies will be called for interview instead of 3.

Additional quota of 10% for EWS category candidates has also been implemented.
UPPSC Upper Subordinate Services exam is conducted for the recruitment of candidates at various posts like Statistical Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, Deputy Collector, etc. Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Provincial Civil Services (P.C.S) and Assistant Conservator of Forest (A.C.F.) / Range Forest Officer (R.F.O.) services examination will be held in three stages - prelims, mains and viva voce (personality test).
