According to the reports in ANI, the Varanasi Police Commissioner has sent the complete biodata of all the candidates to the NTA. The police have also collected the sample fingerprints from the form to match with the fingerprints of students who are allegedly involved in the gang.
The ANI quoted the commissioner saying, “our teams will be dispatched to other states for discussion. Our team has prepared a strategy to take further action in the NEET solver gang, and sufficient evidence is being gathered to oppose the anticipatory bail of the people involved.” According to the report, the police informed that the members of the gang appear instead of original candidates in the NEET exam, and allegedly charge hefty amounts from these candidates to help them clear the entrance exam.
