As per the NEET 2021 update, the NEET UG 2021 cutoff for general category candidates is 50th percentile. While for SC/ST/OBC and general-PH aspirants, the NEET qualifying percentile is 40th and 45th percentile, respectively. 

NEET 2021 score will be calculated based on the marking scheme released by the NTA. According to the NTA  NEET exam marking scheme, candidates are awarded 4 marks for every correct answer, and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. 

The formula used for calculating NEET 2021 marks is -

NEET marks = 4 X total correct answers - 1 X total incorrect answers

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the NEET UG result 2021 soon on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. Students who qualify the test will be able to apply for various medical programmes through AIQ (All India Quota) or central counselling and state counselling.

NEET counselling is held separately for 15 percent AIQ and 85 percent state quota seats. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling of the centrally-funded institutions and seats in state-run institutions given towards the 15 percent AIQ. Read More...

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has updated the counselling website. NTA will declare NEET UG result 2021 soon.

• Click on the 'View NEET-UG 2021 - Result' tab on the screen. A login page for NEET will appear on the screen.

• Enter the roll number and date of birth, and click the 'submit' button. It will then display NEET 2021 results cum scorecard.

The final NEET 2021 answer key will be released prior to the declaration of NEET UG result at neet.nta.nic.in.

On October 30, the Uttar Pradesh Police has sent a report to National Testing Agency to withhold the NEET 2021 results of 25 candidates who are allegedly involved in the ‘NEET solver gang’. Candidates all over the country are waiting for NTA to release the scorecards, however, no update on NEET 2021 result date has been released on the website yet. 

On October 28, the Supreme Court of India gave a nod to the NTA to release NEET 2021 results. The Bombay HC decision earlier put a stay on NEET UG results 2021 announcement and asked to hold a re-exam for two candidates whose question papers and OMR sheets got mixed at an exam centre in Maharashtra.
