UPBEB releases UPTET 2018 official answer key; raise objections till Nov 23

NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 22: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the official answer key of UPTET on November 22. The answer key is available in the form of PDF. Candidates who took UPTET 2018 on November 18 can download the official UPTET answer key 2018 from upbasiceduboard.gov.in. The examination authority has released the answer key for both the papers - paper I and II. UP TET official answer key contains the correct responses against all the questions asked in all the four sets of the question booklet - A, B, C and D.
Candidates can compare their answers with that mentioned in the official answer key of UPTET and submit objections in case they find any discrepancy in the answer keys or the questions. In order to challenge the official answer key, candidates can drop an email mentioning details such as the exam name, level of the exam, question booklet series, question number, and explanation for the objection at helpline@gmail.com from November 22 to 23.
Earlier, Careers360 had reported about the release of unofficial answer key of UPTET 2018 by coaching institutes like Chandra Institute. The unofficial answer key of UPTET was however released for paper I only. Candidates can only check the correct answers from the unofficial answer key, but they can not challenge it.
UPTET 2018 was conducted by UPBEB to test the eligibility of the candidates as teachers. The exam was conducted in offline mode for 2.30 hours, in which questions were asked to check the command of candidates on various subjects like Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies etc. Each paper contained 150 questions of 1 mark each. There was no negative marking for any wrong answer.
On the basis of the eligibility certificate of UPTET, candidates can apply to be teachers of class I to VIII at schools within Uttar Pradesh.
