UPCET BTech Counselling 2021: Choice filling and locking starts at upcet.admissions.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has commenced the choice filling and locking process under the round 1 BTech UPCET 2021 counselling at upcet.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who successfully registered and paid the UPSEE BTech counselling fee as per the schedule will be able to fill and lock their preferred choices till October 6.

In order to fill and lock choices for UPCET counselling BTech 2021, candidates will have to login to the official portal. Candidates can check the steps for UPSEE/UPCET BTech 2021 choice filling and locking below.

Steps for UPCET BTech 2021 choice filling and locking (Round 1)

• Visit upcet.admissions.nic.in.

• Click on the “Choice Filling and Locking for BTech counselling for JEE Main candidates” link.

• Enter roll number and password.

• Click on the “Sign In” button.

• Select the preferred choices of course and colleges from the list.

• Click on the “Lock choices” button.

• Click on the “Submit” button.

The authorities will release the UPCET BTech 2021 seat allotment result for round 1 on October 7. Candidates will be able to check their UPSEE BTech seat allotment 2021 using their roll number and password. Those who will be allotted seats under UPCET BTech 2021 round 1 counselling will have to submit their willingness (freeze/float) and accordingly pay the seat confirmation fees from October 8 to 9. Candidates choosing the freeze option will have to physically report to the allotted institute from October 8 to 10 in order to complete the admission process.

The authorities will open the registration for the UPCET BTech counselling 2021 round 2 from October 9 to 10. Online choice filling and locking for UPCET BTech counselling round 2 will be open from October 9 to 12. UPCET BTech 2021 seat allotment round 2 will be announced on October 13. The authorities will conduct UPCET BTech round 3 counselling from October 14.

The authorities had commenced the UPCET counselling registration 2021 for BTech from September 25 and candidates could register, pay counselling fees and upload documents till October 3. It must be noted UPCET BTech counselling is being conducted for JEE Main qualified candidates.
