UPES DAT 2022: Registration for August cycle to close today; how to apply, direct link

NEW DELHI: Universities of Petroleum and Energy Studies, UPES will close the application window for UPES DAT 2022 August exam today, August 26, 2022. Candidates who are seeking admission to undergraduate or postgraduate programmes in the design offered by the UPES need to appear for the Design Aptitude Test, DAT. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for DAT at upes.ac.in before the closing time.

UPES DAT is a university level design entrance exam conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. The test is held several times a year. DAT for the August cycle will be conducted online on August 27, 2022. The entrance test will be held as an online proctored exam.

• Visit the official website of UPES, upes.ac.in/

• On the home page, click on blue button of ‘ Apply Now’

• Enter personal details such as name, date of birth, mobile, etc

• Select the course for which you want to apply and click the next button

• Make the payment of exam fee

• Fill out the academic details and submit to complete the application process

UPES DAT 2022: Eligibility criteria

Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks at higher and secondary level examinations. Candidates can apply through national design entrance exams such as JEE main, UCEED, NIFT, and NID. Or Candidates having 60% marks in 10+2 will be exempted from the test. They can directly appear for the PI and portfolio rounds.

UPES DAT exam will be 1hour long online test, consisting of multiple choice questions of 10+2 level. UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPES-DAT) will be followed by a personal interview and work portfolio presentation. The schedule of interview and portfolio will be released after UPES DAT result.
