University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) will close the registration window to apply for the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test 2025 (UPESEAT) for admission to BTech courses on June 23. Candidates can fill the application form through the official website at upes.ac.in.
The university has also announced that it will conduct the UPESEAT 2025 on June 25 and 26. The computer-based test will be held for a duration of two hours.
Candidates will have to login to start their online test between 10 am to 3 pm and the time will be counted as and when the test starts. The university will share the UPESEAT 2025 link few days before the exam date.
Candidates are advised to take a demo test for UPESEAT 2025 by visiting the official website. “Applicants are recommended to take a demo test to gain practice and resolve any queries before the examination,” as per the official brochure.
As per the exam pattern, the UPESEAT 2025 question paper will contain a total of 125 questions, among which 35 each will be in Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry sections. The English language comprehension section will hold 20 questions.Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct question. Notably, there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Candidates with at least 50% marks in Class 10 and 12 with a minimum of 50% in PCM in Class 12 are eligible to apply for the admission test.
Those applying for BTech in Mathematics and computer programmes, a minimum of 70% marks are required in Class 10 and 12, along with 70% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in Class 12 to be able to appear in the exam.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in UPESEAT or Joint Entrance Examination Mains (at least 50% and above) or Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) with minimum 1040 score and above or board merit (at least 80% marks in Class 10 and 12 along with 80% aggregate in PCM).
For BTech in Mathematics and computer programme, candidates will be shortlisted on UPESEAT or JEE Mains score with a minimum of 60% & above or SAT with at least 1150 score & above or board merit with minimum of 80% marks in class 10 and 12 along with 80% aggregate marks in PCM) followed by Personal Interview.
