UPPSC Prelims result 2025 out; 11,727 candidates qualify for Mains exam

UPPSC PCS Prelims result 2025 is out on uppsc.up.nic.in for 920 vacancies.
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the result of Combined State/ Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025. A total of 11,727 candidates have qualified in the exam. Candidates can check the UPPSC Prelims result 2025 on the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
A total of 6,26,387 candidates registered for the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam 2025. In the first session, 2,67,340 candidates appeared, and in the second session, a total of 2,65,270 wrote the exam.
“The total number of posts in the examination is 920, of which 106 are for ACF/RFO and 814 are for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS). Against the said vacancies, a total of 11727 candidates have been provisionally declared successful by the Commission for admission to the main examination. The examination result is available on the Commission's website https://uppsc.up.nic.in for the candidates to view,” said UPPSC in an official notice.

The commission informed that a separate press release will be issued regarding the schedule of the main examination and the online application for the successful candidates. Information regarding the candidates' marks, cut-off, etc. will be made available after the declaration of the final result. UPPSC said that it will not accept any representation under the Right to Information Act, 2005 in this regard.

Moreover, the UPPSC results of the female candidates who are from out of state will be subject to the final order and judgement of the high court. A candidate’s result too is subject to the HC order.
Ahead of the Prelims result, UPPSC increased the number of vacancies from 200 to 920. The exam was held on October 12.
